peanut, little man, Pauli

You are independent but a mama's boy. You are a stubborn one for sure. You are a sweet boy, very shy but have lots of friends. Theres always kids knocking at the door wanting you to come out and play. It makes mama happy. yYou don't know this but you have always been so shy so I get so happy when I see you outside playing with all of your friends just being a kid, getting dirty, laughing and being a boy.    You have really been trying hard lately to be the best you can be. We have some slips ups and you don't want to listen, you scream and yell but you are really trying very hard and you are so proud of yourself that you have been behaving and listening to mama. It is a work in progress but we are getting there. You have been doing great. I can not believe you are going to be 9 years old soon. Where did the time go. I am trying all I have to keep you young and my little peanut but everyday I look at you you look more and more like a young man. so I am glad I have all these memories captured to always remember you  as my little guy. Let's take a look at what you have been up to...

You have played out in the snow a lot...

you have been asking more lately for me to take pictures of you. So of course I take you up on your offer and you;re a great model.

I tired out double exposure for the first time on you and loved it...

Keep working hard at being the great kid you are buddy. Mama and daddy are really proud of you.  You are growing up to be a amazing young man. We love you.
Until next time, XOXO

"My message, especially to young people is to have courage to think differently, courage to invent, to travel the unexplored path, courage to discover the impossible and to conquer the problems and succeed. These are great qualities that they must work towards. This is my message to the young people."

My Austin, my 6 year old, my indepedant little big boy. You are the fire cracker of the family, the clown of our neighborhood and the sweetheart of the school. Everyone loves you. You have more energy that I even knew existed. But that is what makes you, you. You are such an independant boy, you love to do everything all by yourself. In the morning before I can even get to the kitchen you already have your breakfast made and you are sitting down eating it. You are the only one out of your siblings that can make it through a night at a sleep over. Your brother and sister always end up crying and coming home. Not you, you would stay for a week. Although it makes me sad that you are growing up so fast, you make me so proud that you are turning into such a little man. You are still my peanut though. So slow down just a little bit. Be my little guy for a little longer? I am not ready for you to be too grown up yet. so until next time. mama loves you, xoxo

It is very rare that you like to model for mama, but when you do you are quite the cutest little model,

You absolutely LOVE to make forts at home with all of our blankets. It drives me nuts at times but it makes you happy, so I allow it here and there,

Boys can play with doll's too. Your sister just learned how to braid hair so she has been braiding her babies hair a lot. so you thought you would give it a whirl,

You are always being silly. You never stop. If I had a tiny tad of your energy I would be happy,

You absolutely love baths, you are a fish. I have to pry you out of the bath tub,

you are such a happy, beautiful love bug. I hope you carry these amazing traits with you your whole life. You are such a fun soul. Happy, fearless, loving and strong. You sure know how to push dad and I button's. But you always do everything with a smile, with love. Yes even when you are being my monster you do it with a smile. So it is so hard to get mad and punish you. Well, until next time little man, mama loves you.

love always, your mama. XOXO!!!

You Are My Sunshine
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You’ll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don’t take my sunshine away
The other nite, dear,
As I lay sleeping
I dreamed I held you in my arms.
When I awoke, dear,
I was mistaken
And I hung my head and cried.
You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You’ll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don’t take my sunshine away.
I’ll always love you
And make you happy
If you will only say the same
But if you leave me
To love another
You’ll regret it all some day;
You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You’ll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don’t take my sunshine away.
You told me once, dear
You really loved me
And no one else could come between
But now you’ve left me
And love another
You have shattered all my dreams;
You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You’ll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don’t take my sunshine away.
Louisiana my Louisiana
the place where I was borne.
White fields of cotton
– green fields clover,
the best fishing
and long tall corn;
You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You’ll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don’t take my sunshine away.
Crawfish gumbo and jambalaya
the biggest shrimp and sugar cane,
the finest oysters
and sweet strawberries
from Toledo Bend to New Orleans;
You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You’ll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don’t take my sunshine away.
